Caliber up to Caliber?

I am a big fan of the design of the Dodge Caliber (girly, I know) but my concern is of the actual long term ownership. I rented one for a weekend long road trip and put some decent mileage on it (about 1200 miles). It seemed great and I enjoyed the ride, but all that glitters isn't gold. Has anyone experienced/heard of any problems associated with the model?
