I have a Ford Taurus 1992, and the check engine light comes on sporadically. I know that the car has a few problems, as we have already taken it to a mechanic. But nothing that would cause the check engine light to come on, yet alone randomly. Can there be a reason for this, other than engine problems or mechanical problems? Thanks so very much!
