We just purchased this really cool truck from a true car collector and all around car-guy who told us that he decided to let it go only because he needed the room for his new SCCA race car. He told us that he purchased the car last year indirectly from the guy that built it in 2020. It has 3600 miles since being completed so it is tried and tested and we personally drove this truck back to our shop approximately 80 miles and we were totally impressed and completely blown away by just how nice it runs, rides and drives! This 3100 Patina Rat-Rod/Resto-Mod is really something special!! CHECK IT OUT!!
 
As mentioned this truck came from Southwest Texas and the body is 100% original. You can't get this kind of Patina anywhere else except from an original like this! We were told that it used to be an old farm truck so yes, it is dinged up, dented up and even has a little rust here and there. The paint is also 1950 original! It has been wet sanded and clear coated with Hot Rod Satin Clear that locks in the look and the Oak bed is also all new too. It also has it's original bumpers front and rear and all of it's original trim too but it does have new door weather stripping and all new tinted glass. All this original "Patina" rests on a refurbished and lowered S-10 chassis and that is what makes this truck stand so special and stand out from the rest!

The interior is a absolutely gorgeous. It has a leather wrapped front bench seat that is super comfortable and it has all new matching leather door panels with arm rests too. The interior panels and headliner are new as well as the carpet. The dash has been tastefully painted with a mat finish in brown which houses the new Dakota Digital "VHX" gauges and it has a tilt  steering column too. All of this is VERY-VERY NICE!!

Power comes from a strong but smooth running and really good sounding 350 c.i. small block engine that we were told was rebuilt during the restoration process. It does have a few goodies like an aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4 bbl. carb with electric choke, an MSD ignition system, a 1-wire 12-volt 100 amp chrome alternator and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. It is completely detailed and fully dressed ready to show! It is backed up by a crisp shifting 700 R4 automatic over-drive transmission and a Ford 9" posi-traction rear with a 3:50 gear-set.
