About Daewoo

GM Daewoo Auto & Technology (GMDAT) was founded in 1937 in South Korea. Daewoos first came to America in the form of the Pontiac LeMans. In some countries (most notably Israel, Canada, and India) the Daewoo brand no longer exists, and all Daewoo cars are sold as a Chevrolet.
