It has also been modified with a dealer-installed X50 Turbo Powerkit with larger turbochargers and intercoolers as well as an upgraded clutch, ECU tuning, and Bilstein PSS9 coilovers. The 996 Turbo is differentiated from a contemporary 911 Carrera by its wider fenders, bumpers, rocker panel flares, integrated side air intakes, and speed-activated rear spoiler. This Cabriolet is finished in Carrara White with a Metropol Blue convertible soft top and features stainless-steel exhaust pipes as part of the optional Aluminum/Chrome Package. Inside, the cabin showcases Metropol Blue leather upholstery with optional deviated white stitching and extended leather trim covering the steering column, PCM surround, belt outlets, rearview mirror, sun visors, dome light, rear center console, backrest coat hooks, inner door sills, and mirror attachments. Other options include supple leather seats with Porsche-crested front headrests, front seat heating & adjustable lumbar support, a thicker leather steering wheel, stainless steel door entry guards with model logos, aluminum instrument dials, and aluminum inlays for the shift and handbrake lever.
